This is the page to look at to see what we have been upto.
6th SEPTEMBER 2008 - The club had an outing to the Isle of Wight Steam Railway. We went by coach and ferry. At the steam railway we had rides on the train and a look around the station at Haven Street. On the day of our visit there was a model railway exhibition at Haven Street Station. This was an excellent day out.

July 2008 - The club had an evening trip out by double decker bus to the Lavender Line at Isfield. The weather was fine and it was a good evening. In steam was 0-4-0ST Peckett 'Teddy' hauling a brake van which we took a ride on.


7th June 2008 - The club put on a small show in Meeching Hall, Newhaven as part of the Newhaven Fish Festival. Members had a good time playing trains and visiting the French market. We had three layouts on display and two trade stands. Many visitors enjoyed looking around and having a cuppa.

2007 - The club took a classic bus on an evening visit to the Lavender Line. We had a great time looking around the railway and having a ride on the train.
12th May 2007 - The club was exhibiting at the local Peacehaven Model Railway Exhibition. It was a good little friendly show.
24th March 2007 - Several club members visited the model railway show at Alexandra Palace in London. One member ended up in Cambridge!
2nd December 2006 - Several members visited the National Warley Model Railway Show at the NEC, Birmingham. A good day but nearly 400 mile round trip!
18th/19th November 2006 - Our Model Railway Exhibition was held at Highfield Junior School, Hampden Park
7th November 2006 - Members of the club took a visit to Hamburg, Germany. We visited the Miniture Wonderland Model Railway. This day trip was Fantastic.
In July 2006 we visited the Lavender Line for a summer's evening of fun. We had brake van rides up the line and a tour around the engine shed. Also in July we took a trip by coach to Didcot Railway Centre and Pendon Model Railway Museum. Another great day out.
In April 2006 we had a DCC Demonstration evening. This gave us a chance to see how this new technology works. It was very interesting.
In January we had a trip to St Albans to the model railway exhibition and classic bus running day. We went to St Albans on the train and then caught a routemaster bus to the show. This was a good day out and was enjoyed by all who went.
